This is the perfect recipe for making gluten-free graham crackers. It gives you all the taste and texture of “real” graham crackers, but it is safely gluten free and so easy to do. Nothing store bought can compare to the taste of these homemade graham crackers! And they are absolutely perfect for making into graham cracker crumbs for a pie or cheesecake.
1 1/2 Cups 9 Grain Gluten-Free Flour Mix
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 1/2 TSP Cinnamon
1 TSP Baking Powder
1/2 TSP Baking Soda
1/2 TSP Salt
1/2 Cup Melted Butter
3 TBSP Water
3 TBSP Honey or Molasses
1 TSP Vanilla
Combine the above ingredients and mix until dough comes together.
Place the dough between two pieces of parchment paper on a large baking sheet, roll to the edges of the pan, score with a pizza cutter into desired rectangles, and prick with a fork into desired pattern.
Bake at 325 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until the edges are brown.
Cut crackers with a sharp knife and cool on a rack until crisp.
Comment: This is a very forgiving recipe. You can make all kinds of changes and it still tastes great!
